Todd Crouse

Director of Girls Development Program

Todd was born and raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He has been coaching in the sport for over forty years. His gymnastics career began when he was seven years old. He competed in several state, regional and national championships while at the club and high school level. He won numerous individual titles, and was an All-American in gymnastics all four years at Thomas Jefferson High School. He went on to compete as an NCAA Division 1 gymnast for The University of Iowa, and was honored with the Coaches Appreciation Award in 1991. After earning a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Iowa, Todd was the boys program director and head coach in Council Bluffs for twelve years where he produced four NCAA Division 1 athletes. He also worked on his post-graduate degree at the same time as well as working full time as a therapist with teens and pediatrics on a mental health unit.

Todd began coaching at Omaha Gymnastics Academy (formally Omega) in 2001. He is currently OGA’s USAG Development Program Director. In his time here he has produced numerous state, regional, individual and team titles. He also helped many gymnasts qualify for State, Regional, Western and National Championships as well as produced several NCAA athletes. He has also assisted in developing elite gymnasts in the senior, junior and hopes levels. Additionally, he has been an accredited USAG Developmental Program boys and NCAA men’s judging official.

Todd has sat on the Nebraska State Gymnastics Committee as a board member for three years and he is now the Nebraska Administrative Committee Chairman (2022-2026).
